Individual Attention, Small Classes Lead to Success

Not only is math one of the most high-demand career fields, but with our flexible program, you can earn another major or minor and still graduate in four years. We also offer the Marie Curie Scholars Program to women who excel at math and science. This prestigious scholarship provides significant financial support and resources for academically talented young women who are interested in what have come to be called the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) disciplines. You could receive up to $20,000 annually for four years!

With a mathematics major, you can choose from a variety of career options including actuarial work, statistics, inventory control, financial planning, computer programming, systems analyst and more. Your professors will challenge you to think in new ways and they will champion your successes.

Best of all, class sizes are small, some with 10 or fewer students, so you get the individual attention that helps you immerse in the subject matter and engage with the professor and fellow students.
